![]() ![]() Looking at the notes from the tech, it seems he noted something was there after comparing other cars on the lot, chatted with a tech from ford and ford concluded normal operation. Here's a similar thread I just posted that video in:Ģ012 V6 Mustang idle vibration while in gear - YouTubeĬlick to expand. The last time I was at my dealer I mentioned issues with a rough idle. ![]() The other day I caught it on video dropping down to 500rpm over and over with AC, and you can hear the vibration changing from tolerable to terrible thanks to the sodas in the cup holder.ĭoes that sound anything like your issues? If I turn on the AC, it might be any worse, but now and then a strong fast vibration can hit and go away just as fast, shortly after turning it on. Usually shows 650rpm with little movement, and just a little more rpm, 50 or so, vibrations go away. A little vibration is tolerable, but it really stands out when not consistent. It can go back and forth from smooth to rough, but mostly rough with some fluctuation. Overall, the car feels smooth at first as you start driving, but out of no where it can become rough while in gear idling at a light or stopped. Recently I tried to reset the computer by pulling that fuse everyone talks about and going through the suggested re-learn idle process, didn't help the idle. ![]() After the first oil change, where they discovered a transmission leak due to a pump that had a TSB, it never felt quite the same shortly after. When the car was new, it was so smooth, during the first week with it I had to keep turning the radio off to double check it was even on. I'm having issues with rough idling in my 2012 Mustang V6 Auto, no mods, 14-15k miles. ![]()
